Eligibility criteria

The candidates should have completed any degree in any particular stream like Arts, Science, and Commerce in order to take up this professional course. The candidate should have passed their degree with a minimum of 50 to 55
percentage of aggregate marks. Age Limit There is no age bar for admission, but the candidate should require a minimum of 19 years at the time of admission.

B.Ed. admission entrance exams

The B.Ed. admission in majority of colleges and universities are done on the basis of entrance exams. B.Ed. syllabus
The B.Ed. curriculum is designed in such a way that the candidate has to have a good knowledge in all aspects which are required in this profession. The teacher
has to be skilled to deal with the classrooms with a set of multilingual children coming from different socio-cultural backgrounds with different cognitive

Employment after B.Ed.

To gain recruitment in the government schools, you need to appear for national or state level teacher eligibility test i.e., CTET and AP TET. It should be noted that in order to get hired as an assistant professor or a professor, at a college or
university the candidate should have passed National eligibility test that is,
NET- UGCNET and CSIR NET.
